This is a sun set in the north pole when the moon is the closest to the earth. I did this with water colored pencils which I have never really used before. I thought I would try something different.

fortune

To most people a single quarter would seem like useless spare change, but to this five year old it seems like a fortune.

This is just an exercise we did in class. We are starting out with parts of the body and will soon be working into full figure drawings.
